I attended the Glen Eyrie Writing for the Ages conference in September and the gardens were beautiful! I took lots of pics for inspiration. Someday, I'll get MY fairy garden done.

Things are looking up!!
My sister gave me an Andirondak chair for Christmas! I'm going to use that for my garden, since no one has come forward to help me move the cement benches from the church to my house. So .... look for actual progress this spring!

Garden Update
I'll be going back to Ladies' Bible Study next Tuesday, the 22nd, and my friend, Kim, and I are planning to get at least once of the cement benches for the garden. Once I have the two benches in place, I'll be able to begin setting some things out and doing some fall planting.

Slow Progress
Obviously, I'm making little-to-no progress on my garden. My plan is to get the cement benches first (on a free day - HA) and place them where I want them. Then I'll begin to create the rest of the garden around them. I'm hoping to get those benches next week, but as we all know, the best paid plans of mice and men often go awry.

Rain, rain go away
If only it would stop raining for long enough, I'd be able to start digging. I have, however, starting gathering things for the garden. Our church has graciously donated two cement benches and I bought a bird bath at half price at JoAnn Fabric a couple of weeks ago. I have ceramic mushrooms that are windchimes (the chime is underneath the mushroom cap) and am planning several herbs. I am thinking about making a gazing ball out of an old bowling ball and glass chips. Lots to do! Now, rain, rain go away!!
